What are the different pricing options?
Currently, all trays are $130. If you’d like to add/remove any features, please contact us at ParksideWorkshopCA@gmail.com and price adjustments can be discussed.
What are my shipping options?
We ship within all 50 United States and Washington D.C. We ship from the Bay Area, so shipping charges will be calculated after we receive your order information.
How do I care for my serving tray?
Our serving trays come pre-finished with Walrus Cutting Board Oil. Wash with soap and water as needed, do not use dishwasher. Re-oil with a rag or paper towel after each wash, then let sit for 24 hours. Contact with water may cause wood grain to rise slightly, but the oil should help prevent that. If the tray becomes slightly rough over time, lightly sand with 400-600 grit sandpaper, remove the dust with a clean rag, then just reapply the oil!
Can I have something custom engraved onto my tray?
Absolutely! We offer laser engravings for an additional $5 per tray (logos, initials, etc). Larger or more complex designs are also available, pricing can be discussed once received. Please email your design to ParksideWorkshopCA@gmail.com.
What does “face grain” mean?
“Face grain” refers to the part of the wood being used as the surface of your tray. This grain is more susceptible to knife marks and will dull knives a little quicker than either edge grain or end grain, commonly used for cutting boards and butcher blocks. For this reason, we recommend only light cutting on your tray, e.g. your fancy cheeses!
